ANTIFA and The Anti-Fascist Protection Rampart

By Rubashov

Ever hear of the "Anti-Fascist Protection Rampart"?  It was known better as the Berlin Wall.

Today is an anniversary of sorts for the Berlin Wall.  It has been down as long as it was up.  Which tells you something about the perspective of today's Millennials.

The wall was built by the German Democratic Republic in August 1961 and it fell in November 1989, although it wasn't fully demolished until 1992.  The wall was built by self-described "anti-fascist" leftists who feared that their people would "vote with their feet" and leave "paradise" for the "fascist" West.  The wall was designed to keep people in, not out.

140 people died trying to cross the wall, that we know of.  Thousands of others were arrested for making the choice and attempting to leave.  Doubtless, the anti-fascists thought they were torturing them for their own good.

Words bestow a certain righteousness upon those who  take them.  Call yourself an "anti-fascist" and there is no end of mischief that you can justify.  And especially so when your memory does not reach back so far as to remember such things as the "Anti-Fascist Protection Rampart."

Pop a pussy hat on your head, call yourself the "Women's March," and follow a leader like Linda Sarsour -- who calls for an American "Jihad" -- or praise a cop-killer like Joanne Chesimard (aka Assata Shakur), a convicted terrorist.  It's all covered by the words.

We're the "Women's March" so we're cool.  Hey, look at the words if you don't believe us.  Just like the "Anti-Fascist Protection Rampart" -- now what can be wrong with that?  Just look at the words.  Disagreeing with us makes YOU a fascist!

Curiously, the term ANTIFA is an German language acronym.  It stands for Anti-Faschistische Aktion.  The "Anti-Fascist Protection Rampart" when translated into the original German is Antifaschistischer Schutzwall.  Read as originally intended the words do have a different punch, don't they?

When we speak or write of ANTIFA and its allies, perhaps we should make it a point from now on to discard the acronym and go with the original German:  Anti-Faschistische Aktion.  It lends a certain understanding of who it is that we're dealing with.

Understand too that the idea of showing up and mobbing a local congressional office is a tactic with a lineage that comes out of a darker time.  Those who are into such performance art are purposefully mimicking the mob-based hysteria whipped up by the wannabe authoritarians of the past.  Not only the Women's March, but groups like Action Together, RISE, Indivisible, The Resistance is Now, and Anti-Faschistische Aktion, have all participated in these mob-actions with the idea of overturning the outcome of democratic elections, held in accordance  to agreed upon rules.

Democrat Party candidates in CD11, CD07, and CD03 have all particpated in these Anti-Faschistische Aktion inspired mob actions, for the purposes of subverting democratic elections.  These mob actions have attracted the support of some very questionable people -- like Women's March co-chair Linda Sarsour, who called for "Jihad" against the government of the United States.  When did being "the loyal opposition" morph into a "resistance movement" bent on breaking the law and undermining the American government?  And what does this say about the character of Mikie Sherrill, Lisa Mandelblatt, Tom Malinowski, and Andrew Kim?

Know who your "friends" are and what they stand for -- because you will be held responsible for those you willingly cavort with.  And keep clear of the Anti-Faschistische Aktion crowd who, when holding up a mirror to themselves, see only fascists.

Linda Sarsour casts shadow over Murphy speech at Women's March

She's the Steve Bannon of the Left -- an angry, trash-talking Democrat Party political operative with ties to some pretty unsavory people.  But in Linda Sarsour's case, it isn't the Russians we need to worry about, but rather Islamic Jihadists bent on defeating the West and changing America's culture.

Linda Sarsour, the co-founder of the Women's March, was on the front page of many New Jersey newspapers today -- in an Associated Press story, running her mouth about how many allies she intends to get elected to take power in the United States of America.  Her group is being funded so that they can hold a candidate training seminar in Las Vegas.

Funny thing though, there was no comment from Governor Phil Murphy about the shadow cast by Linda Sarsour over the group he is set to speak before on Saturday.  Democrat congressional candidate Lisa Mandelblatt, an attorney in Westfield, had nothing to say about Sarsour either.  So let's refresh their memories:

Last summer, the New York Times (08/01/17) looked into some of the antics of the Linda Sarsour, co-founder of the Women's March organization:

The Times piece was titled -- "When Progressives Embrace Hate."  Times Editor Bari Weiss noted that the Women's March is connected to some very unsavory people but that groups like the NJEA (the state teachers' union) and Democrats like Governor Phil Murphy and candidate Lisa Mandelblatt don't seem to care.  Weiss wrote:

"The leaders of the Women’s March, arguably the most prominent feminists in the country, have some chilling ideas and associations. Far from erecting the big tent so many had hoped for, the movement they lead has embraced decidedly illiberal causes and cultivated a radical tenor that seems determined to alienate all but the most woke.

Start with Ms. Sarsour, by far the most visible of the quartet of organizers. It turns out that this 'homegirl in a hijab,' as one of many articles about her put it, has a history of disturbing views, as advertised by . . . Linda Sarsour.

There are comments on her Twitter feed of the anti-Zionist sort: 'Nothing is creepier than Zionism,' she wrote in 2012. And, oddly, given her status as a major feminist organizer, there are more than a few that seem to make common cause with anti-feminists, like this from 2015: 'You’ll know when you’re living under Shariah law if suddenly all your loans and credit cards become interest-free. Sound nice, doesn’t it?'  She has dismissed the anti-Islamist feminist Ayaan Hirsi Ali in the most crude and cruel terms, insisting she is 'not a real woman' and confessing that she wishes she could take away Ms. Ali’s vagina — this about a woman who suffered genital mutilation as a girl in Somalia."

Democrats failed to call out Linda Sarsour, the co-founder of the Women's March, even when she advocated for "jihad" against the democratically elected American government.

Yes, the co-founder of the Women's March actually called for "jihad" against the government of the United States of America.  And Democrats have remained politically-correct silent about it.  Instead, Democrat leaders have praised the Women's March and continue to do so -- lending their support to its leadership while American troops are in the field, engaged in a fight against jihadists.  Why have the Democrats and their candidates refused to comment on these threats of "jihad"?

Last year, Linda Sarsour -- a prominent Democrat Party activist and co-founder of the Women's March -- called for a "jihad" against the American government.  You can catch her act here:

Here's what she said:

"During a speech to the Islamic Society of North America convention in Chicago last weekend, Sarsour, a delegate to the 2016 Democratic National Convention who is an anti-Israel and pro-Sharia activist, made the startling call and also urged against 'assimilation.'

'I hope that we when we stand up to those who oppress our communities that Allah accepts from us that as a form of jihad,' she said. 'That we are struggling against tyrants and rulers not only abroad in the Middle East or in the other side of the world, but here in these United States of America, where you have fascists and white supremacists and Islamophobes reigning in the White House.'

'Our number one and top priority is to protect and defend our community, it is not to assimilate and please any other people and authority,' she said.

'Our obligation is to our young people, is to our women, to make sure our women are protected in our community. Our top priority and even higher than all those other priorities is to please Allah and only Allah,' she said."

Sarsour started off her call for "jihad" by praising Siraj Wahaj, who she described as her "favorite person in the room."  Wahaj is a controversial New York imam who has attracted the attention of American authorities for years.  Federal prosecutors included him on a 3½-page list of people they said "may be alleged as co-conspirators" in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, though he was never charged, the Associated Press reported.

Since the election of Donald Trump as President, some Democrats appear to have gone completely loopy.  We believe that dissent is an American right, but "dissent" isn't "jihad".  When did the democratic concept of a "loyal opposition" morph into "jihad" -- a "holy war" to be waged by all means necessary?  And why are Democrats and their candidates too afraid to talk about it?

And here is another thing that they are afraid to comment on.   It was reported extensively in the media last year that the Women's March "honored" cop-killer Joanne Chesimard (aka Assata Shakur).

Referring to the notorious cop-killer, who murdered a New Jersey State Trooper in cold blood, as a "revolutionary" whose words "inspire us to keep resisting", the far-left Women' March organization issued a statement "celebrating" Ms. Chesimard's birthday.

The Star-Ledger reported on this:

http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2017/07/womens_march_wishes_nj_cop_killer_a_happy_birthday.html

So did the Save Jersey blog:

Joanne Chesimard, the Black Liberation Army member hiding in Cuba after murdering New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster on the New Jersey Turnpike in 1973, has long eluded American justice and vexed New Jersey public officials as well as the public at large.

Donald Trump made headlines in June by spiking the Obama-era Cuba deal and citing the case of Chesimard (a/k/a Assata Shakur) as one of the reasons.

Eyebrows were therefore raised on Sunday when the far-left Women’s March’s social media accounts CELEBRATED the notorious cop-killing fugitive’s birthday:

“I think you guys accidentally left out the part where she shot a police officer in the face, escaped from prison, then fled to Cuba in this post,” responded one Facebook user.

Why haven't we heard from Democrats like Governor Phil Murphy and candidate Lisa Mandelblatt or the NJEA about this?  Why have they remained silent?

Why don't some Democrats appear to mind associating with radicals calling for "jihad" and cop-killers?  Do they consider these legitimate forms of "dissent"?  We are very interested in hearing what Democrats like Governor Phil Murphy and candidate Lisa Mandelblatt think about all this.

Local Democrats caught in lie, blame postal workers.

If you ever wondered why working class voters left the Democrat Party in droves to vote for Donald Trump, you need look no further than Sussex County, where Democrats over the weekend attacked Republican legislators for keeping in touch with their constituents and went so far as to blame the good people and hard-working letter-carriers at the United States Postal Service.  The Democrats claimed that the postal service delivered the mail late, which is not true.

Democrat candidates Kate Matteson and Gina Trish even wrong-footed fellow Democrat Josh Gottheimer who, as a Member of Congress, has the unlimited use of the United States Postal Service (it is something the bloated Congress gives itself, called "franking").  Unlike the Congress, the members of the state Legislature have no such free mail.  It must be paid for.

Democrats, Kate Matteson, Congressman Josh Gottheimer, Gina TrishNevertheless, Matteson and Trish reminded us that fellow Democrat Gottheimer was part of the team at Ford who sacked 44,000 union workers -- and then sold the idea claiming that it would help make the company more profitable for Mr. Ford.  Again, if you ever wondered why the working class gave up on Democrats...

Gottheimer also recently took credit for a grant that was applied for before he even came to office.  Last month, Democrat Congressman Josh Gottheimer put out a press release that announced a $102,000 Grant for the Wantage Fire Department.  Gottheimer's announcement, dated July 26, 2017, and released by his taxpayer-funded office, stated:

"Today, Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) announced that the Wantage Fire Department will be receiving $102,000 in federal funds for safety and operations as a part of the Department of Homeland Security’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) program. AFG awards allow fire departments to purchase or upgrade equipment, vehicles, workplace training, and other firefighting and fire prevention activities."

What Gottheimer doesn't say is that the grant is from 2016 -- when Republican Scott Garrett was the congressman.  In his press release, Gottheimer inadvertently points out that, under the Obama administration, money to towns like Wantage was typically held up -- in contrast with the Bush administration.

And, once again, Congressman Gottheimer tip-toes around the source of the terrorism we face -- calling it "lone wolf" terrorism.  Willfully ignoring the threat of Islamic terrorism by calling it by another, politically-correct name, is weak-kneed snivelry.

It wasn't "lone wolf" terrorism that necessitated the creation of the Department of Homeland Security and the billions spent since.  The Congressman should not ignore the fact that these have been coordinated attacks and that ISIS, the Taliban, Hezbollah, and such are all strains of the same anti-Western, Jihadist ideology.  They differ -- as Stalin and Mao did -- but remain focused on the destruction of America and Western civilization.

And Congressman Gottheimer still hasn't called out fellow Democrats -- like Kate Matteson and Gina Trish -- for their support of Linda Sarsour, the co-chair of the Women's March, and a self-proclaimed advocate of "jihad" against the democratically elected American government.

Yes, the co-chair of the Women's March actually called for "jihad" against the government of the United States of America.  And Democrats have mostly remained politically-correct silent about it.  Instead, state and local Democrat leaders have praised the Women's March and continue to do so -- lending their support to its leadership while American troops are in the field, engaged in a fight against jihadists.  Why have the Democrats and their candidates refused to comment on these threats of "jihad"?

Perhaps Watchdog should nominate Democrat Gottheimer for a real award -- the Walter Duranty Award -- courtesy of fellow Democrats Matteson and Trish.  The award is given to highlight egregious examples of dishonest reporting and is named after Walter Duranty, the New York Times Moscow correspondent who -- in the 1920s and 1930s -- whitewashed Joseph Stalin’s forced starvation of the Ukrainians (the Holodomor) and many other aspects of Soviet oppression.  Perhaps Gottheimer would appreciate the work done by Matteson and Trish on his behalf?

What's with these Democrats anyway?  Sure, Republicans aren't always on the ball, but Democrats always seem to make it worse.  Maybe comedian Lewis Black, a liberal Democrat himself, is on to something...

NJ Herald shows pro-left bias in reporting rallies

The Herald used just 105 words to report on a conservative August 5th rally sponsored by the Skylands Tea Party, NJ Oath Keepers, and Three Percenters.  The rally attracted 70 people, according to the Herald, but the Herald didn't bother to publish an interview with a single one.  The rally was held in support of President Trump.

The Herald used 302 words to report on a leftist July 22nd rally sponsored by Action Together Sussex County -- a group that supports Jihadist Linda Sarsour.  Just 30 people turned out for this rally, according to the Herald, and the Herald extensively interviewed and quoted two leftists (including Gina Trish, a Democrat candidate for Assembly).

The Herald wrote a 739-word story to report on a leftist April 15th rally sponsored by the Women's March organization and Indivisible New Jersey, which was started, according to the Herald, "by former congressional staffers who resisted the Trump agenda."  Jihadist Linda Sarsour is one of the co-chairs of the Women's March, a group that recently "honored" a terrorist cop-killer.  50 people turned out for this rally, according to the Herald, and the Herald lovingly interviewed and quoted five leftists.  This rally was specifically held to protest President Trump.

The Herald employed 722 words on a hateful "Ides of Trump" rally (the "Ides..." is making reference to the assassination of Julius Caesar) held on March 8th.  According to the Herald, the rally was "organized by several women who attended the Women's March on Washington in conjunction with other local women's rights groups, including Citizen Action Project, Sussex County NOW and Indivisible."  50 people turned out for this rally, according to the Herald, which noted that some of those in attendance were wearing the pussy cat hats of the Women's March.  The Herald interviewed and quoted five leftists for this story.  As with the others, no opposing views were sought or quoted.  No balance.

While slobbering all over these leftists, the Herald fails to ask them tough questions about their actions or even attempt to recognize who they are and what they stand for.  This is surprising, as the Herald's readership and advertisers hails from a rural, conservative county.  More surprising is that this is happening while other news organizations, like the Newark Star-Ledger and the New York Times are printing balanced accounts.

The New York Times gets it.

In an August 1st piece titled -- "When Progressives Embrace Hate" -- NY Times Editor Bari Weiss points out that the Women's March is connected to some very unsavory people but that groups like the NJEA (the state teachers' union) and those candidates they support don't seem to care.  Weiss wrote:

Gottheimer lies: Tries to take credit for a 2016 Grant

Democrat Congressman Josh Gottheimer put out a press release this week that announced a $102,000 Grant for the Wantage Fire Department.
