Candidate voted under the wrong name last November

On October 16, 2012, David Wygonski -- a native of Illinois -- registered to vote in Sussex County, New Jersey.  He did not register as a Republican.  He voted in the November presidential election that year, but missed every opportunity to vote again until the presidential election of November 2016.

By then, he was no longer David Wygonski, having changed his name to David Atwood by court order on May 2, 2014.

But that didn't stop David Atwood from voting under his former name in a federal election on November 8, 2016.

That's right, this week it was confirmed by a voter registration officer, an officer of the court, and a citizen witness, that David Atwood wrote the signature of "David Wygonski" in order to gain access to vote in the federal election held on November 8, 2016.  Atwood did this while presumably aware that the signature he made and the voter name he attested to had not been his legal name in over two years. The Court did not give grant him permission to use TWO names.  The Court granted him permission to legally change his name.

David Atwood did not register to vote under his LEGAL name until December 21, 2016.  He has never voted as David Atwood.

David Atwood did not register to vote as a Republican until January 11, 2017.  He has never voted as a Republican.

In February, David Atwood became an Assembly candidate.  At the time he told a group of Republican voters that he was a "new voice for the Republican Party."  Yes, very new.

In fact, even after changing his name to David Atwood, he continued to be registered at his former address in Sussex County as David Wygonski.  In effect, he was counted twice on the voter rolls under two different names, at two different addresses.

No kidding.  As of February 10, 2017, he was an "active" voter at two different addresses under two different names (see below):

Recently, candidate David Atwood has been wailing like a baby with a wet nappy.  The cause of all this pissing and moaning was an action taken by the elected Warren County Republican Chairman, Doug Steinhardt.  Chairman Steinhardt noticed that Atwood was actively registered to vote TWICE -- and had the good sense to challenge Atwood's candidate petition in order to get to the bottom of it.  Ever since, David Atwood has been crying like a badly chafed toddler in need of a powder and some kind words from mother.

We know some on the Left (fewer now, than before) claim there are no problems with the voter rolls, but then you come across a story like this, from just last month:

LANSDALE, Penn. -- The feds say a Pennsylvania man has been using a dead boy’s identity for more than 21 years, CBS Philly reports.

Authorities got involved after a relative of the deceased used Ancestry.com to put her family tree together.

A woman was getting information on Ancestry last year and her nephew Nathan Laskoski popped up. She saw that he got married and he moved around the country -- from Texas to Mississippi to Tennessee and eventually to Pennsylvania.

But the problem is Laskoski died in 1972 when he was two months old.

Authorities say 44-year-old Jon Vincent escaped back in 1996 from a halfway house in Texas, and went to a cemetery to find someone born around the same time that he was.

Prosecutors say he picked Laskoski and found his birth certificate, which he used to get a social security number.

Authorities say that started 20-plus years of jobs, bank accounts, loans, marriage and divorce as Nathan Laskoski.

(CBS News, April 12, 2017)

David Atwood and his running mates, Nathan Orr and Bill Hayden, claim that the Warren County Republican Chairman was making a fuss over nothing.  But when you look at all the recent examples of voter fraud -- under-reported by the media but real court cases nonetheless -- you begin to appreciate Chairman Steinhardt's vigilance:

- San Pedro, California: 83 absentee ballots were sent to different registered voters who all supposedly lived in the same small, two-bedroom apartment. If it wasn’t for an observant neighbor, this case would never have been discovered.

- Pennsylvania: Democrat organization FieldWorks LLC was raided by Pennsylvania State Police for fraudulently filling out registration forms for thousands of voters.

- Indiana: State police “believe there could be hundreds of fraudulent voter registration records with different combinations of made up names and addresses with people’s real information.“

- Chicago, Illinois: An investigation by CBS Channel 2 in Chicago found people who had been registered to vote after their death, and a total of 119 dead people who had voted 229 times.

- Examination of just eight out of Virginia’s 133 counties and independent cities: After being unwilling to sign a form that they were US citizens, 1,046 illegal aliens were discovered to already be registered voters.

- In an undercover video, even Democrats were recently caught complaining about the amount of voter fraud created by NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio’s decision to give out ID cards without checking recipients’ identities.

- In North Carolina’s closely contested gubernatorial election, massive fraud may have altered the outcome of that race. The North Carolina Democrat Party-funded political action committee apparently paid individuals to fill out and witness hundreds of fraudulent absentee ballots. At least 35,750 people with the same names and birthdates voted in North Carolina and another state in the last presidential election. Other clear cases involved deceased individuals voting after their death. (Research courtesy of John Lott)

Atwood, Orr, and Hayden owe Chairman Doug Steinhardt an apology.

DNC Chair says Democrats can't be Pro-Life

While some self-styled Republicans (are they Republicans In Name Only?) like Bill Hayden and Douglas Amedeo believe they can cohabit with liberal Democrats, the liberal Democrats appear to believe otherwise.  This is what the Chairman of the Democratic National Committee had to say about it a few days ago:

Candidate Hayden suggested today that if he didn't win then Democrat Jennifer Hamilton should.  Hayden's rant wasn't anything extraordinary for this fool who posts what are in our opinion threats against innocent families, photo-shopped heads of Republican leaders onto vaginas, and missives about "grabbing pussy."  And don't say "so did Trump."  Remember, Trump didn't mean to, he didn't know he was being taped.  The idiot Hayden posts this kind of crap on purpose.

William J. Hayden (AKA Bill Hayden, Dell Hayden, Skylands Patriot) is an 18 year public employee of the New Jersey Department of Transportation.  He works as a supervisor, based in Trenton, where he pockets a salary and extras more each year than any legislator earns -- plus full benefits and a pension.  Hayden is a member of the CWA -- one of the most liberal unions in America.

Now he thinks we should give him a second public job -- as our legislator.

He doesn't vote much.  He made it last November, but the last time before that was 2010.  What he does do is play on Facebook.  He spends a lot of time on Facebook.  Much of it in the middle of what most of us call "the working day."

Hayden posted his supportive comments about Democrat candidate Hamilton yesterday.  She is the same liberal Democrat candidate who was invited by Hayden and Douglas Amedeo to promote her candidacy before the Skylands Tea Party Group earlier this month.

Hayden and Amedeo assured the Tea Party that it is no big deal that Hamilton is pro-abortion, anti-gun, and pro-transgendered agenda.  Hamilton would spend millions funding Planned Parenthood and vote for the imposition of draconian gun confiscation laws.

Any questions?

Graham blames property tax increase on Obamacare

At last night's meeting of the Sussex County Republican Committee, Freeholder boss George Graham blamed the County's 2017 property tax increase on Obamacare, not on the solar debacle.  This seems hardly credible, but we will give Graham the benefit of the doubt while we await budgetary figures to substantiate that claim.

Graham had no comment about the news that a waste management company has contracted with a firm in Sussex County to explore the purchase of the County landfill.  With Freeholders unwilling or unable to make spending cuts, the county appears to be preparing for a combination of property tax increases and selling off assets.

Douglas Amedeo of the Skylands Tea Party group showed up but failed to explain why some Republican candidates are barred from attending his group's meetings.  Skylands gave Assemblyman Parker Space and his wife, Jill, a particularly rude reception at their February meeting -- going so far as blocking them on social media.  And for no policy reason that we can discern.

Also appearing at the meeting was Chris Wyman, a former Democrat candidate for Freeholder who is now apparently an elected Republican committeeman.  Wyman, made a plea for more political "moderates" and expressed a disdain for this website, among others.

Candidate Nathan Orr issued a Facebook appeal in which he called his running mate, David Atwood (formerly Wygonski) a "Republican."  Yes, he registered Republican on January 11, 2017, but Atwood has never voted as a Republican in Sussex County.

Atwood even failed to vote for running mate Nathan Orr in the 2015 Republican primary.  He has never voted in a Republican primary in Sussex County.

Does this make Atwood the definition of R.I.N.O. -- Republican In Name Only?

That said, the freshman candidate showed some smarts by bringing along his young son to the meeting.  Republicans are family oriented, that's why they've been so angry over Bill Hayden's attacks on Steve Oroho's family and children.

Is Hayden playing politics on public time?

Where does Bill Hayden get all this time to trash-talk people on Facebook?

Well, it appears that you -- the taxpayers -- might be underwriting a great deal of that trash-talk.

Much of it in the middle of what most of us call "the working day."  For example, on Thursday, January 19, 2017, in the middle of the afternoon, when he probably should have been working, Bill Hayden was posting this threatening missive on his Facebook page:

That drone.  Was it state property?

Hayden is such an incompetent, he got it wrong and instead of posting a picture of the home of the political consultant Hayden hates so much, he posting a picture of the consultant's neighbor's home.  It caused quite a stir.  The home belongs to a perfectly innocent family with young children.  The police were notified and people were on the alert for Hayden-supporters traveling in from New Jersey to do whatever to the "target."

Really, is this the kind of behavior you want to see in somebody representing YOU?

Heck, do you even want your tax dollars spent this way?

Hayden lies, fails to own up, trips himself up again

EXTRA... EXTRA... Read all about it.

Bill Hayden has not had a LEGAL High School Diploma in over 20 Years.

Yes, we get it that Bill Hayden doesn't have any educational achievements.  Still, he should understand that, once awarded, a degree doesn't go away.

We get it that Bill Hayden doesn't have any military achievements.  Still, he should understand that, once awarded, a decoration -- whether for service or valor -- does not go away.

If Bill Hayden had earned admission to an institution of higher learning, he would know that certified public accountants must have 150 semester units of college education, one year of accounting related experience, and then pass a rather tough test called the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination.  Then you are awarded your CPA accreditation.

Some CPA's go on to other specific practices, as in the case of Senator Steve Oroho.  These practices are built upon the foundation of the CPA accreditation, but require different, more advanced, testing.  In such cases, the CPA will hold these advanced accreditations, but the fact that the CPA accreditation was achieved does not go away -- as the educationally challenged Mr. Hayden seems to believe.

Here is how we got here:

On Friday, Hayden decided to spread a little dirt on Steve Oroho by questioning his credentials.  That's a hoot coming from someone with none.

William J. Hayden (AKA Bill Hayden, Dell Hayden, Skylands Patriot ) is an 18 year public employee of the New Jersey Department of Transportation.  He works as a supervisor, based in Trenton, where he pockets a salary and extras more each year than any legislator earns -- plus full benefits and a pension.  Hayden is a member of the CWA -- one of the most liberal unions in America.

He doesn't vote much.  He made it last November, but the last time before that was 2010.  Now he thinks we should give him a second public job -- as our legislator.

Here's what Hayden wrote on his Skylands blog:

"First; we went on the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs website. There we found that a Steven Oroho from Mt. Laurel signed up to take a test in 2012, but never went any further. We then checked with the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. No luck there. We then checked the entire CPA roster in New Jersey and in New York…nope. No Steven Oroho. We think that the Senator has some explaining to do."

Unlike Hayden, Watchdog has the intellectual capacity to actually read and, if Hayden had actually read the age of the "Steven Oroho from Mt. Laurel" who signed up to take the test, he should have figured out that it was the Senator's son -- Steven Oroho Jr.

So now Hayden and company is trashing the Oroho family.

And just so you fully understand who you are trashing, let us remind you.  Young Steven is a veteran of the war to liberate Iraq.  He signed-up for it and served four years in the United States Army, rising to the rank of sergeant.  While Hayden was playing video games in his bunker, young Steve Oroho was on the line, fighting to keep our nation's actual enemies at bay.

And yes, young Steve Oroho did eventually take that CPA test and pass and he also took a test to be a Certified Fraud Examiner, which he passed as well.  With the likes of Hayden, a certified fraud examiner is just what we need.

As for old Steve Oroho - Steve Sr. - Senator Steve Oroho, he has been a CPA since 1982.  We reached out to the Senator's campaign and they graciously forwarded us a copy of his license.

But that wasn't enough for a thug like Hayden, he had to go after the women too.  He had to drag Mrs. Oroho into it too.  He put up this Facebook post over the weekend:

Once again, this idiot flat out lies.  The truth is that Rita Mary Oroho -- Senator Oroho's daughter -- is a CPA.  Yes, there are three CPA's in the Oroho family:  Steve Sr., Steve Jr., and Rita Mary.  But not Mrs. Rita Oroho.  She is not a CPA.

The lies spread by Hayden and his Skylands Patriot website have already been responsible for the end of one political career, that of Assemblywoman Gail Phoebus.  The whopper Skylands told about the district office lockdown and OLS destroyed her credibility in Trenton and left colleagues questioning her state of mind.  It was downhill from there.

Anyone working with the Skylands website -- and that goes for a couple of low key Freeholders -- should be aware that you cannot treat the family members of candidates the way you treat candidates.  They are not necessarily public figures.

Sadly, we note that Hayden has tried to use his own wife to post on Facebook in defense of his lies.  That is very disappointing as she is a nice lady.  The best thing Hayden could do would be to apologize to these women for dragging them into his stupid attempt to falsely malign a husband and a father.  Hayden's followers should demand that Hayden apologize.

Bill Hayden certainly has every right to operate his own blog, although he should provide a disclaimer now that he is a candidate for public office.  And while we welcome the presence of more blogs in Sussex County and Northwest New Jersey, you cannot just make things up.  It brings down the entire enterprise.  Just a friendly reminder, blog-to-blog.
